Tab at the very top so you are going to see the setup how the teacher that has set up the different assignments and different jobs in Stoke whiskey as for a class the good thing with this it's almost like a timeline parents you'll see like the first the week that they're working on and any previous weeks as soon as Simon's / 4 this week so the good thing about this is like I said is you can go back you can go back and see what assignments were done previous weeks and so forth make me the child got behind and an end and didn't want to know what's what was do previous week SW can really go back and see hey I need to send the same or or a different different reference points and so maybe maybe a week 5 they have an assignment and they want to do a referee two week 4 and the child can go back and and see see see those different references that were given by the teacher so is it really useful to hear in class work to help guide you as a parent to see what exact what's going on in the classroom when you go into that classroom you're going to see this is a virtual weight this week you're going to see you're very different icons icons as far as the type of Icon let me be clear with that so they're even though they look very similar that they're they are different what type of Icon it is so you got to be very familiar with what this says you're so if you look at the top there it says if you see like a clipboard notepad there those are just different I miss that need to be turned in okay but you see the difference are the all the different assignment fourth buy it by the teacher so these are again assignments that need to be completed by the student okay NBC that another type of Icon there it is a? So if you see it below? These are just questions that are posed by the teacher that is didn't eat the answer okay so again if you still owe? These are the questions given by the teacher for the student to answer so they can just pick something and everything and to respond to them teacher questionnaire and the last type of Icon there are just a ribbon but it's a little reference tool for Fort for the student given by the teacher so maybe maybe the teacher has they need to go back and do a research project on a projector a person in assignment so everything that's needed as far as what needs to also also has the due date if you see the due date right there has the exact due date when it is to be turned in okay so you it's all very transparent as what needs to happen to have the student turn in that assignment text so when you open an assignment are you going to see these are the different assignment and the instructions that come with that assignment so again parents I want you breakthrough with it with it with instructions it's very important that you go ahead and read those instructions because obviously the the teacher is going to have different different instructions different directions as to how to complete a different assignment and what we want is always to the student to complete that assignment correctly so it's some it's critical that you read how that the teacher is instructing the spinach with the difference that assignment is that we wouldn't want that we want the timer to turn assignments to be turned off but we want the assignment to be turned in correctly given the instruction by the teacher okay so you also able to view the different assignments you and here's a part teachers I mean Paris is where you're able to comment and ask questions about that particular assignment so you're able to comment I say meeting might need a car for lesion on an instruction or maybe you have a clarification on up on you don't can't find a particular reference point for the student so this is where you you can communicate back and forth the teacher and guess what their parents this is where that the teacher gets a notification hey I got a there's or there's a question regarding a particular assignment and the teachers able to to to see that that that that question or comment and reply back okay I'll go to the next line when when when you're done with all the questions when you're done with getting responses to those questions by the teacher Yuri clear as to how that assignment is supposed to be done and so forth your got it done ready to go you're just hit that turning button right there in red and you you're done as somebody not a timer I do ask at least hear that I will use ClassDojo a lot so if your teacher does if the teacher does have a class dojo account I would say I would send a message to the teacher that hey my son our daughter has an already submitted their assignment so that's just a precautionary measure just a double-check to make sure that the teacher is aware that that time I had this minute burning presentation I know it was a quick but I wanted to make sure it very clear for you as to what needs to happen to make your steer your child or children that come here to Sheldon ISD successful with the platform Google classroom and again like I said in the beginning I don't want you guys to be experts at this but I do want you to know that this the basic is an ounce of of Google Classroom so you can go ahead and that assignment
